Jamb profile Creation: One of JAMB Pre-Registration Tips for UTME Candidates

As one of JAMB’s pre-registration tips as regarding the preparation toward this years UTME, the body JAMB has said that candidates that want to write this years UTME are to make sure that they have a valid emial which will be used to create their individual account before the registration kicks off. The statements reads:
“Candidates are expected to have a valid email address. This will be used to create individual profiles on the portal. Emails are free to get, so if you don’t have one, you can create a free email at gmail.”

In this post, you will be guided on how to begin with the creation of a valid email before embarking on the creation of account with JAMB. This post will contain screenshots of the whole process.
STEPS TO CREATE A VALID EMAIL
It is either you are creating an email that the extension @yahoo.com or @gmail.com. I advice you to go for @gmail.com, a service rendered by google, meaning Google mail (Gmail). This is for those that does not yet have a valid emal, but if you have, jump this step and immediately start reading  “How to Create Your Jamb profile”

1. Click on the link to begin https://accounts.google.com/SignUp?hl=en.
2. A page loads where you are to fill your personal information.
3. When you are through, click on “next step”.
4. A page load, please click on I AGREE button, no need reading all those bunches of comprehension.
5. You have just succeeded creating an email, Gmail to be precise.

How to Create Your Jamb profile (steps with screenshots)

1. After you must have done the above, click here to go the the sign-up page.
2.  The next page that load is where you put the already created e-mail to be verified before you begin the main process. Type in your e-mail, choose a security question that you will not easily forget, confirm it and click on verify e-mail. You will receive a response.

“Your e-mail address has been saved and a confirmation mail has been sent to you (Kindly check your inbox and spam folder). Confirm your e-mail by clicking on the link in the mail to continue your account creation”

3. Check your e-mail, a certain “Unique Code”, which is sent via email, while creating your Free Profile on the official portal. This Unique Code system was created so that you do not need to send your Email Password to the CBT Centre.
